Georgie

Georgie is a very very fussy 3 year old cavapoo - historically he has been known to go for three days without eating (unless the kids were sneakily offering him human scraps at the dinner table!!). We tried everything - kibble, Butternut Box, Pure, Pets Love Fresh, Natures Menu etc. All of which he would eat reluctantly for a few days (if that) and then turn his nose up and walk away, uninteretsed. I tried grating cheese on top and sprinkling it all over - he would eat the cheese and then push the food away.

I have always been keen on raw food due to the health benefits (and smaller, less smelly poops), but I did not want to have to deal with a bloody mess. I saw these patties which look just like human burger patties with minimal mess and thought I would give them a go. No mess, just pop it down in his bowl - sometimes he eats it so quickly I don't even have time to break it up.

Some days Georgie will wolf down his patties quite quickly - other days he takes his time but does eventually eat. In truth, I don't think anything other than human food will be devoured immediately - he's a bougie doggy!!

However, we have now been using LUNA & me for over a year now with great success!!

Georgie does eat and I know that his food is good for him. I notice that he often prefers to eat it when it is very slightly still frozen so that he has to chew rather than have it as a soft consistency. We have tried the chicken, the lamb, the beef and the pork patties. The delivery service is great and always comes well packaged and easy to pop straight into the freezer.

Georgie weighs 10kg and we feed him a Pattie in the morning and another Pattie in the evening. In between he does have the odd treat and we always give him a couple of doggy biscuits at bedtime. His weight is perfect and he is thriving - a very happy customer here.
