Lola

Lola is a 7 year old mixed breed rescue from Gran Canaria, who has been part of our family for three and a half years. When she was found on the street in Gran Canaria she was desperately skinny and had been taken to an end of the line shelter. The charity that rescued her fed her on a tripe mix dog food and so, to avoid any unnecessary anxiety, we continued with this when she was brought to us in the UK. She was very anxious at all of the huge changes in her life she’d quiver in a corner tail between her legs. We carried on with the tripe mix to keep things consistent despite the doggy dandruff, smelly breathe, dog trumps that made your eyes water - she was eating so that was ok.

Fast forward 18 months and we were taking our children on holiday so Lola went to stay with a pet sitter. Whilst there she accidentally snaffled some of the owners pets dry dog food and then wouldn’t eat anything else, so we changed her onto that. Still dandruffy, smelly Lola but then after another year or so we noticed more accidents on the kitchen floor, looser stools and so so smelly and we took her to the vet who suggested bringing in samples so we did but with a sister who runs a doggy daycare, she suggested we try raw fed and so we did our research, got some recommendations from people we regularly see on our walks and got a starter pack from LUNA & me - it was like magic!

A nice shiny coat with no dandruff, genuinely excited at mealtimes (she bounces like a kangaroo!), her teeny tiny poops don’t smell and neither does she. Very happy Lola and very happy us!
