Sprout

I have 6 cats, all rescues, but this story mainly concerns Sprout who was brought to me to look after for 2 weeks with two of his siblings whilst their fosterer was on holiday. They were really feral, having been trapped on a farm, and Sprout was the runt. He was really tiny and so very cute, and much friendlier than the others. Because of his willingness to be touched without shredding my fingers, I decided to separate him, as the others were making him more hissy. Needless to say, he never went back with his siblings!

He became cat number 5. Sprout is nearly four now and his first 2 years were an absolute nightmare because everything he ate went right through him. It was no sooner in than it was out again. I tried all kinds of different brands of cat food, including two raw brands, but he didn't like them. I then came across an ad for LUNA & me and decided to give their starter box a go.

Success!! Not only did he like it, he did his first ever solid poo!! I was over the moon. The only trouble is, he's no longer tiny and lean, he's a real chunky monkey now. I haven't quite worked out the portion sizes, but I'm delighted. He's so much healthier. And it's not only Sprout who likes it, 3 of my other cats do too, with one of them (Jasper) preferring it over anything else. They all love the Whisker Lickin' Chicken best.

I am so glad I came across this brand because I was really at the end of my tether. I absolutely love him to pieces but was on the verge of giving him up - two years of constant runs takes its toll not only on me but my carpets! I don't have carpets anywhere in my house now!!
